Biography: Artemis lived with her mother, her parents had gotten divorced just after she was born; slitting the family into two. Her father took her sister with him, leaving her to have to grow up with her mother laying her dreams upon the young girl. She was being told what to be, an idol, but it’s not what she wanted at all; all she wanted to do was dance, do ballet. She was amazing at it, it always leaves people speechless when they watch her twirl and spin about the room. However, her mother was coming down on her harder and harder, not allowing her to have any friends for the fact that they’d use her for her fame she was gaining throughout Japan. Overly stressed she tripped and fell during a spin in her dance studio; which was abandoned to all else. A man rushed in, having been watching her from the window; little did she know this was a love at first sight encounter. The man named Kwon helped her with her twisted ankle, wrapping it and making sure that she could at least walk home. However, he seemed to have noticed that something was the matter with her, she seemed to have a lot on her mind and so he asked. Feeling as though she could trust him, she spilled it all, about her torn family, wanting to see her father and sister, wanting to be able to be just who she wanted. He understood and promised to take her to see them tomorrow, happily she hugged him and he walked her home.
Upon the next morning she had packed a few things and snuck out of the house toward the airport where Kwon was waiting for her. He had bought them McDonalds and was very happy to see that Artemis wasn’t a girly girl who was afraid about eating Big Macs because of watching their weight. Eating together and meeting Kwon’s puppy named Snoopy they waited for their plane and soon boarded for their trip. After their conversation and making it to the from steps of her father’s home, a woman appeared, taking Artemis back at first, only to ask for her father, explaining little to her, only to be called a slut, due to seeing a man standing with her and other such cruel words. She slammed the door in her face and Kwon stepped up, slamming his fist on the door, angered at what he had just witnessed. Artemis stated that it was alright and said they should just leave, until the door opened once more. Her father was there, and he didn’t seem too happy to see her, although he did appear to be shocked. However, he explained it was best that she didn’t come around anymore, for her sister’s sake of finding out and becoming worse, due to her illness.
Kwon and Artemis made it to a hotel where they spent the night together, at first just watching some zombie movie, only for them to start teasing one another. Kwon said that he had something on his mind, but he wasn’t going to tell her. Artemis playfully smacked him with the pillow and tackled him, trying to get answers out of him. He finally admitted that he had a desire to hold her hand during the sad part of the movie, to hold her to him. This made her blush as she looked into his eyes, still laying on top of the boy, only for their lips to meet into a passionate embrace. It was that night where things went farther than she had expected; they had made love. The next morning, things didn’t seem to be too different, except for the kisses and squeezes she received from him, they were rather comfortable together. They didn’t wish to return back home though and so it was made so, now they were living there together, and went on about finding a house of their own to live in.
Things were all prepared finally, a house, furniture, a big back yard, it was their dream house put into one; yet nothing too fancy. After a month passed, Kwon took Artemis out to a beautiful restaurant and proposed to her, which she accepted happily. Life seemed to be complete for her, no longer did she have to take ordered and not be able to follow her own dreams, she was taking life into her own hands and she had Kwon to thank for it. However, things took a spin for the worse if anything, her world was about to crumble down before her very eyes. She wasn’t sure what was going on, but for some reason Kwon wasn’t around much anymore, but he blamed her for this, saying that she was never there when he was. Feeling guilty she stayed up all day and night without sleep, trying to catch time with him, even spent a wonderful day together. She was energetic at one point and tackled him in an embrace as he spun her around, she was making him feel happy inside and even started to say romantic things to her once more. But, he still wasn’t happy. He felt lonely even though he shouldn’t. He disappeared for a few days, which made Artemis unsure of how to make this. Little did she know that he was sneaking behind her back with another woman the entire time. He came home that night and noticed how upset Artemis seemed to be, she was stressed about not having anyone around her anymore, and no friends, family, and even they seemed to be drifting apart. He didn’t want to say it with such timing, but he dumped her that night, breaking her heart into tiny pieces. He promised her that they could stay friends, but the moment he walked out that door, she never saw him again.
Artemis now didn’t have a person in the world at her side, no pet, family, friends or a lover. Her emotions ran wild, feeling depressed, angry and then sad once more. She felt herself to be broken and made her way back home to her mother, who scolded her but held her firmly in an embrace; Artemis just cried. She was back at home, the place where she still didn’t have anyone at her side but her controlling mother and her creepy boyfriend who was often rude to her. But, this was better than living on her own like she once was. Kwon had saved her, but after what he had done to her and leaving her all alone, she couldn’t take it anymore, the loneliness was eating her alive inside. Today she still appears to be a lonely individual, without a friend in the world to call her own. She still dances at that studio, often stopping and hoping that she’d see Kwon looking in through the window, but nobody ever has been. Nobody probably ever will.
